How Do I Know 100% Sure I AM Truly Saved?

                                   

        What is the sure way to know that I am truly saved?

       If you read in 2 Corinthians 13:5 it says to " Examine ourselves whether Jesus Christ be in you". From this passage we see that we should examine ourselves to see if we were just enlightened, just said we were saved but are not, or if we are really are saved.

     How do you really know if you are saved? Well if you have these things in your life  you are on the right path and are wanting to run after God like a Christian is supposed to. 

     #1 Do you enjoy fellowship with other believers? I know I really enjoy being around fellow believers. You can just feel their Spirit the moment you walk in the room. Even if they are complete strangers you feel as if you have know them their whole life. If you don't have a want to be with God's people then their might be something wrong.

    #2 You want and love to read God's word. I know for me if I skip a day of reading the word I feel terrible, disconnected from God, and feel like I am missing something. But when I pick up that Bible again it all comes back and I feel hopeful again. If you truly have a relationship with the Heavenly Father you will want to learn  more about him, Read his word and go to church you will really miss it and those times if you are truly a Christian. Just like you miss your best friend or your spouse when they are not there with you, you should miss this time to grow in the Lord and learn more about him.

   #3 lastly, the third way to examine your relationship with the Lord, is if you want to pray to him every day having close intimate conversation with the Lord of all. If you do not like close communication with God and don't miss it when you miss a day or two you might want to check your salvation.

  Now I am not saying I can judge if you are saved or not or I can not guarantee if you have these things in your life you are saved, but it is a way to kind of dig deeper so you can have a idea. I know Satan wants to attack Christians into thinking they are not saved into thinking they need to do more then just have faith and o boy is it working! There are so many religions that are based on works. 

  No person can ever tell you if you are saved. The only two people that can tell if you are truly saved and on your way to heaven is the Lord and you. I ask you to examine yourself today and ask am I truly saved or was I just playing the game. Do you truly believe with all of your heart no doubt at all that Jesus died for your sins (paid the penalty you should have paid for your sins) was buried, and in three days he rose again? 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. I know it takes a lot of faith and it's a lot for our little minds to comprehend that all you have to do is believe and you will go to heaven. It doesn't include any works, no strings attached.

  There is just one more thing I would like to talk about before I close. Sometimes... ok a lot of times people believe that the prayer they said to get saved, saved them. Not true. It is what you truly believe in your heart. If you truly believe what you said in your salvation prayer you are probably born again but if you just said it just to say it or for a friends sake that means your probably not saved. If this has happened to you you can resay this prayer but this time from the heart truly believing what God has done for you even though you are a sinner.

    Salvation prayer:

   Heavenly Father; I know that I'm lost, and want to become one of your children. I believe with all my heart that Jesus is the son of God, and I confess him Lord. I Believe in my heart that Jesus died for my sins, and rose again the third day, I receive your love, and eternal life. Thank you for saving my soul. Amen. 

   If you absolutely believed what you just prayed with all your heart congratulations you are set for Heaven. May God Bless you and keep you. All glory be to God For ever and ever Amen.
