Host of Joyfully Faithful, Sarai's Salvation Testimony
I'm Sarai. I am the host of this blog. I love Jesus with all of my heart and want to do everything I can to serve him. He is my best friend and my everything.
All my life I was raised in a Christian home. I became a Christian when I was 4 years old.
MY SALVATION TESTIMONY
When we where attending church one Sunday morning my teacher was talking about death, and Hell. That's when it first became a reality to me that that was where I was going when I died: to Hell! (Romans 6:23). Once we got home I asked my Parents how I could know the Lord as my personal Lord and Savoir. They talked with me, and they told me how to. They told me it's not what I do but what the Lord has done. I told God in prayer that I knew I was a sinner and I needed someone perfect like His Son Jesus Christ to cover my sins. I also told him from my heart that I believed He died on the cross for my sins, and He rose again the third day. I knew the only way to get to Heaven when I died, was to put my faith in the Lord to save me. I accepted the Lord as my Savior that day ( 1 Corinthians 15:1-4). When I was about 11 years old I started questioning my Salvation. I wasn't reading my Bible as I should, praying, and would ignore when my Holy Spirit would tell me something wasn't right. I wondered constantly why don't I have a close relationship with God as my Parents and Siblings do? I talked to my Mom about my feelings and she helped a lot. she encouraged me to read my Bible more and to pray constantly (1 Thessalonians 5:17). It turns out that I was quenching my Holy Spirit and not fully letting God take control of my Life ( 1 Thessalonians 5:19-23). I was letting Satan get in my way and letting him make me think I didn't need to read my Bible, or Pray (Ephesians 6: 12-17 2 Corinthians 13:5). I have been growing in the Lord ever since I started being more faithful to God. Of course I have the ups and down days when Satan wants to attack me. We all do. But God is good (Romans 6:23). He is always faithful to answer my prayers (Romans 12:12). Now I am always and anxiously awaiting when our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will meet us in the air (Titus 2:13).
I hope that all of us can come out more faithful to God through my blogs. I know I'm not perfect, I make mistakes like every body else who is human, but through the Lord I hope and pray that all of us would grow in him.
I would like to thank my Parents for letting me do this blog, for helping me edit this blog, for raising me, for helping me through the ups and downs of life, and also for teaching me the most important thing in life which is that I'm not perfect and I need the Lord.
Thank you to my Sister for helping me edit my blogs, and encouraging me in this new stage in life.
Thank you to the you, my fans, for reading this and helping me start a business for the Lord.
Finally, last but not least, thank you Lord Jesus Christ for Saving my soul, for being my everything, and for giving me the ability to blog for You. Without You I would be nothing. To God be the Glory!
I hope you have a blessed day and you always have the joy, joy, joy, joy down in your heart. Remember to always be faithful to God (Philippians 4:4, 1 Peter 1:8-9).
Please comment below your salvation testimony, I would love to hear it.
For joyfully faithful, I'm Sarai
